Over the past thirteen years we have delivered to some beautiful locations and met some fantastic people. Below are a small sample of the kind comments we have received from our fantastic clients over the years.
Mr. P. Stafford, Managing Director', Lost Gardens of Heligan, St. Austell, Cornwall
“We are delighted with our Shepherd’s Hut, it has been a great success with our visitors. It blends into it’s surroundings beautifully and has become an ideal focal point for our visitors to congregate, either to obtain information or just to relax and take in the environment.
The great advantage of the Shepherd’s Hut as an information point is its mobility; it allows us to position it at various sites as the seasons dictate where the points of interest are.”
Mr. & Mrs. M. Gloucestershire
"We absolutely love our hut. It has finally made it down to the river bank. We now spend all our evenings sitting beside it watching wildlife.
It was great all winter where we placed it when you delivered it - it stayed really warm as it was in a sheltered spot under the wood."
Mrs. A. Devon.
"The whole experience of owning a Shepherd's Hut has been trouble free. The concept is brilliant, combining the traditional with the new to a very high standard of workmanship and finish.
I look forward to many happy hours in my hut. I trust my art will improve to warrant my indulgence!"
Mr. & Mrs. R.. Cornwall
Whilst researching suppliers of Shepherd’s Huts I thought you'd be interested that we spent a couple of nights in a (Rival) hut last week and we were both very unimpressed with the finish.
From their brochure I had expected it to be better made.
They are not as wide as yours so the bed is let into the walls.
Their step treads are very narrow and therefore difficult to negotiate in the dark, and they are higher off the ground which makes them more difficult.
There are all sorts of details that are shabby. Messy lead over the window, membrane showing by door frame and it has been hacked with scissors or something rather than cut straight. Paintwork is splodgy.
The general effect at first glance is lovely but then you start looking closely!
Yours is far and away better.
Mr. & Mrs. J. Somerset.
"Just wanted to let you know how much we have enjoyed our shepherd's hut. Furnished with an afghan rug, a wicker sofa, some directors chairs and a small table, we have taken full advantage of the recent good weather and had a number of barbeques there. It is magical at night, lit by storm lanterns, with smoke billowing from the chimney, and the dogs sleeping by the steps...."
Ms. M from South of France.
"I am writing to say how much I have enjoyed living in my roulette as it is called here. I am writing by candlelight, my cat is sprawled in front of the stove, where a Spanish omlette is cooking on top. It is lovely here.
My neighbours have complimented the standard of workmanship - which is quite a compliment considering the amount of woodworking expertise around here."
Ms. B. County Durham.
"I thought you would like to know just how invaluable our Shepherd's Hut has been. I work in it nearly every day and, since the evenings have got lighter, we have our pre-dinner gin and tonic inside it whilst listening to the blackbirds singing.
The children have had a couple of sleepovers in it and I have even relented and let the dogs slumber near the fire. If we could all live in it we would. It has been both a haven and an inspiration......
In late 2005 we were commissioned by Fired Earth Interiors to construct a "Fisherman's" Hut, to promote their products in their 2006 colour brochure and website, www.firedearth.co.uk.
Mr. & Mrs. R. Hampshire
"Just wanted to let you know how very much we are enjoying our 'hideaway'
Ms. S. Devon.
I really love my hut and would be more than happy to pass on the any info. and to give you a great write up
On receiving a book on fishing huts from a client I was delighted to read the inscription on the inside page:

Nothing comes close to the wonderful one you made us..
